(More customer reviews)I bought this through ABC Distributing a few years back, and the first year it worked GREAT, but the kids were little and wanted to play with it rather than let it run. So we put it away for a couple years. This year, we got it out but it wouldn't run. I eventually thought to put in new batteries, but then the power cable socket (attaches the engine and the car) fell inside the engine and I couldn't get it out. I finally got it out and plugged it in, but it still won't work. I am disgusted to see that the only one available as a replacement is $60 dollars, because I am certain I paid less than half that originally. Overall, it is an ADORABLE train visually and perhaps we didn't care for it well enough, because now we can't enjoy it. I would totally recommend it if you don't plan on it running for years.
