(More customer reviews)Go to GNC and get it in drop form (it's about $16.99 for the small bottle - eye dropper in the bottle), or take in a pill form. Valerian helps insomnia, it will help you get to sleep and make you feel relaxed.
I'm only giving it 4 stars, cuz i use to take it for my insomnia and my body got immune to it, so it didn't do me any good after i got immune to it. However, every once in a while if i drink or smoke it, it will get me into a nice relaxed, chill state.
If you're like me and you get immune to it, i reccommend combining the following herbs with it: Chamomile, Hops, Passionflower
and drinking them as a tea. The combo will most def do the job and you will be in that state i mentioned for a couple of hours, you're going to feel tired, and wanting to lay down. I don't reccommend driving after drinking this. Listening to music while drinking this is going to put you in a good mood. My opinion, but whenever i listen to music, it just sounds better when i drink this combination. Puts you in a really nice down state - first 15-20 min are very intense, the next 2-2 1/2 hours are going to be like you want to lay down and just go to bed. (This is how long mine lasted, when combined with the other herbs i mentioned).
If you don't want to buy the other herbs i mentioned and make it yourself, you actually can buy this combination as a tea in the supermarkets. They do make it. It's marketed as a Bob Marley - the green tea flavor - decaf - has valerian, chamomile, hops, passionflower, lemon balm and honey in it (lemon balm/honey = for taste). It usually costs $1.50 per bottle - they reccommend not going over 2 bottles a day (and if you drink more then one - separate the usage by several hours apart). After one bottle, you may not even be able to lift a 2nd one, lol..
Check out my combination though - it def works...doesn't taste all that bad either
