(More customer reviews)My mom used to get me these Hallmark ornaments when I was a kid, and I absolutely loved them. I recently got married and had my honeymoon in San Francisco, CA, home of the 2010 World Series champions, the San Francisco Giants! I was already a huge 49ers fan, and after getting back from my honeymoon, rooting for the Giants brought my wife and me right back to that beautiful city by the Bay. As the holidays got closer, we began decorating our new place, which involved putting up the new artificial tree and decorating it with all our ornaments. As I broke out my old Hallmark sports figure ornaments, I knew there was one that was missing.
I've always been a big Barry Bonds fan. I don't care what you say about the guy, he's one of the most talented baseball players of all time. Anyway, I did some research to see if Hallmark had made a Barry Bonds Keepsake ornament, and, sure enough, they absolutely did in order to commemorate his recording-breaking season in 2001 when he finished with 73 HRs! I purchased it immediately, and I'm so glad I did. It looked fantastic on our new tree this past Christmas, and it took me right back to when I was a kid. I can't wait to hang him up again this December!
