(More customer reviews)I have to say that this was always and continues to be one of my favorite Maurice Sendak stories. I read this story often to my two children when they were young. So when I started to think about Christmas this year and the decorating of my tree and then found this ornament I thought it would make a wonderful addition to the ornaments that I have collected over the last 30 or so years. I love the holidays for many reasons, but decorating and looking at the ornaments that hang on my tree each year bring me back to the Christmas' gone by, since many of the ornaments were purchased as a marker, to either that year or that character that was important or reflective of something important or valued to us as a family or me as an individual. I have a spot all picked out in my head where this ornament shall be hung. It's beautifully done and should, as it's done for me, bring a smile to the face of all "Wild Things" fan out there.
