(More customer reviews)I figured for the price I paid that I would receive a "tinny" cheap knock-off that maybe I could admire from a distance. As soon as I picked up the box I was surprised by the weight. Very nicely packaged, I was really amazed when I unwrapped this thing. Although it IS a cheap knock-off, it's a very impressive cheap knock-off. It looks and feels like the real thing. On close inspection, it obviously has its flaws and lacks the fine craftsmanship of the several hundred dollar version. But it is close enough to the original to really bring back memories to any old Marine who got to use, but never own one. I have several friends and family members who are Marine vets, and will purchase more as gifts.
