(More customer reviews)Buy this cute owl pitcher. Buy it now! I purchased this a few weeks ago to add to my growing owl collection and I love it. The clean white is what saves it from being tacky, in my opinion. While not tacky, it's definitely a unique piece for your home. It's also pretty light, which I like a lot because heavy pitchers filled with liquid, combined with condensation and a chronically clumsy hostess makes for several broken pitchers. Even as light as it is, it's not overly fragile. I'd feel comfortable using it often, not just on super special occasions.
A few things:
Honestly, I'm considering using this as a vase instead of a pitcher. The inside of the vessel isn't smooth, it contours to the outside providing lots of little nooks and crannies that are a pain to wash after use. But on the plus side, it's so pretty that it's just versatile enough to be either.
It's not very big. I have a hard time visualizing sizes, so a lot of the time when I buy things online, they're way smaller than I ever anticipate, even when dimensions are provided, which they weren't at the time I purchased it. It's a little shorter than a Barbie doll and about as big around as a regular DVD. I would still buy it again, knowing that though.
