I purchased the matte set as the glossy just wasn't appealing. I am incredibly happy with the matte finish. As another review stated, there is no angel included in this set, but I purchased a large angel to go with it and she's perfect. I've been searching for a nativity for years and haven't come across one that suited my tastes until now! Look forward to having this out at the holidays for YEARS and YEARS to come!
