We just bought a house and it was costly to upgrade to "rain" glass or other decorative glass for our transom and sidelight windows by our front door, so we purchased this to spray on and provide a little privacy and a nicer look - all year round. The only thing I would say is you will get a different look depending on how you apply it (continuous spray, short bursts, closer or further away) and it's hard to get it consistent. But since it wipes off easily you can play with it, the can covers a lot of space. We also tried a second layer but it didn't do much, it's that first application that dictates what it looks like.
