(More customer reviews)I love the bookends. They are not as heavy as I expected as they are not made from metal and I wasn't sure what polystone is. But they work and they look good. I have quite a few large texts that are held in place nicely by these bookends. I didn't put them on either side of the books which is what I had intended to do but instead put them on different shelves on opposite sides using the bookshelf wall for support on one side. They look good that way as well. I didn't give them 5 stars because I think they are a little pricey for not being metal.
