I bought this for my mom as a Christmas present since she collects nativities. The tree arrived with a very noticeable chip in its wooden base. Also, when the lights are turned on, the tree looks horrendous. The lights on the star and around the tree are an ugly bright yellow which overshadows the details on the tree itself. The song it plays sounds bad - its your typical poor electronic version of a Christmas carol played through a bad, muffled speaker.
The tree itself looks great. All the figures and places around the tree are very detailed and there's no repetition among the characters. The tree is bright and colorful, and its large enough where everybody who walks in a room will notice it immediately. Not bad.
