This shoe is hand-smithed out of the finest steel available, and it shows. This shoe contains 8 nail holes, a large advantage over shoes containing a mere 6. I cannot stress how many times I have had to replace the shoes on my horses because of the fact that 6 nails simply could not stand up to the task. Another advantage of this miracle-shoe is the grooves in which the nail holes are located. You're probably thinking, "pfft, those grooves are just so the nails don't rub on the ground!" WRONG! While these quantum engineered grooves do provide that necessary service, they also provide the utmost in aerodynamics. Don't believe me? Watch two horses race, one wearing a 6 hole shoe, one wearing an 8 hole shoe. You'll soon know what I'm talking about.
While these 5040 Large Horseshoes are top of the line when it comes to equipping horses for walking, racing, or war, they are NOT properly designed for playing a game of horseshoes, not that anyone in possession of a set of these beauties would ever try something so foolish. The design of these shoes provides improper conditions for being thrown through the air. You'd have to be a horseshoe champion to compete with even the most feeble, armless opponent. And even after that, you'd have to deal with the fact that you just ruined the best horseshoes you ever held.
